Heidi Zettl Band

Heidi Zettl Band is a four piece band of award winning native Texan musicians based in Allen, Texas.

The members consist of Heidi Zettl, Cameron Griffin, Angel Trujillo and Zach Whitchurch, all of whom have been recording music and performing together for well over a year in wide variety of regional venues. These venues have ranged from the Oklahoma Festival of the Arts in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to the Voodoo stage at the House of Blues in Dallas, with their busy performance schedule keeping them on the move.

They recorded and released their all-original debut EP titled “Soul Colours” in 2012 and found their songs being playing on Internet radio programs featuring up-and-coming indie artists. Lead singer-songwriter Heidi Zettl won first place in the 2012 Texas Independent Music Expo (TIME) Performing Songwriter Competition placing her firmly in the ranks of other great Texas songwriters. That same year the single “Crazy” won semi-finalist in the 2012 International Songwriting Competition.

They recorded two more original songs in early 2013, those being audience favorites “River” and “Tell Me Everything” while also creating a dynamic professional music video based on “River”, which is available on YouTube.

The band members also collaborated summer 2013, on writing and recording a theme song as well as short clips that will be used in the new ABC regional Dallas affiliate WFAA weekly TV show “Live, Love, Laugh Today” beginning mid-September. Heidi’s classical and jazz vocal and keyboard stylings can be heard in their pop rhythms while the diverse musical background of Zach Witchurch, Angel Trujillo and Cameron Griffin brings a colorful perspective to their sound.

The band’s creative chemistry is undeniable, their timing impeccable. Their musical backgrounds bring these serious musicians to a place where creativity thrives and the party is on!
